1. Right to Cancel (14-Day Statutory Cooling-Off Period)
In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you are a consumer and change your mind, you have the right to cancel your order and request a refund within 14 days of receiving your goods.
- Notification Window: You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the final item in your order.
- Return Condition: Items must be in their original, unused, and unopened condition with all packaging intact (including all accessories and manuals).
- Logistics Costs: Return shipping costs for “change of mind” returns are the responsibility of the buyer. Once the return is inspected and confirmed undamaged, the refund will be processed minus the original delivery costs.
2. Faulty or Damaged Goods
We provide a comprehensive quality guarantee for all robot components.
- 30-Day Short-Term Right to Reject: If an item is faulty within 30 days of receipt, you may choose a full refund or a replacement.
- Within 6 Months: If an item develops a fault within 6 months, we will first attempt to repair or replace it. If this is not possible, a full or partial refund may be offered.
3. Special Provisions for Robotics/Electronic Components (Pre-Solder Testing)
Due to the technical nature of robotics parts (e.g., Flight Controllers, ESCs, Sensors), please adhere to the following:
- Pre-Solder Inspection: We strongly recommend performing software connection tests (e.g., USB connection tests) before any soldering or permanent installation.
- Soldering Restrictions: Once an item has been soldered, wired, or physically modified, the “change of mind” return policy no longer applies.
- Fault Inspection: When applying for a faulty return, do not remove any existing wiring or solder joints so our technical team can evaluate the original installation. Unauthorised removal may void the warranty.
4. Exclusions
The following items are excluded from the 14-day “change of mind” return policy:
- Consumables: Batteries (e.g., LiPo batteries) are covered by a Dead on Arrival (DOA) guarantee only.
- Custom/Personalized Products: Including 3D-printed parts or bespoke orders made to your specifications.
5. Shipping Damage & Delivery
- Damage Reporting: If a package is damaged during transit, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt.
- Safe Place Delivery: If you designate a “Safe Place” for the courier to leave your parcel, the risk of loss passes to you once the parcel is marked as delivered.
6. Refund Processing
- Processing Time: We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
- Payment Method: Refunds will be issued via your original payment method (e.g., Visa, PayPal, Apple Pay).
- Deductions: We only refund standard shipping costs. Extra fees for expedited or premium delivery upgrades are non-refundable.
